Accessibility Statement
Commitment to accessibility
Etnaland S.r.l. is committed to making its website accessible, usable and understandable to as many people as possible, regardless of the technologies used, personal abilities or browsing methods.
This accessibility statement applies to the website https://www.etnaland.eu/ and to the public pages connected to it, including the information sections dedicated to the Themepark, Acquapark, Prehistory Park, calendar, prices, contacts, services, promotions and guest information.
Conformance status
This website is partially compliant with the accessibility requirements set out by the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines and with the general principles of the AgID guidelines on the accessibility of digital tools.
Accessibility checks carried out through automated evaluation tools, manual reviews and navigation testing have shown a good overall level of compliance across the website.
At the time this statement was last updated, no critical accessibility issues were detected on the main public pages reviewed. However, some areas remain subject to further improvement, particularly regarding colour contrast in specific graphical elements, some technical components generated by third-party services and external or downloadable content that may not be under the direct control of Etnaland S.r.l.
Etnaland also takes into account the evolution of the international WCAG 2.2 standards and the principles introduced by the European Accessibility Act, with particular attention to public-facing digital services and to online consultation, booking and purchase processes.

- decreasing text size;
- activating high-contrast mode;
- underlining links;

The tools included in the toolbar are designed to improve website usability and support users with different visual or cognitive needs, without replacing the native accessibility features of the browser, operating system or assistive technologies used by the user.
The accessibility toolbar does not replace the technical accessibility requirements of the website but provides additional tools that allow users to personalise their browsing experience according to their individual needs.
Content that is not fully accessible
Despite the optimization work already carried out, some content or features may not yet be fully accessible or may require further improvements.
In particular:
- some decorative or identification graphic elements, such as language selectors and promotional buttons, may present colour contrast levels that could be further improved against the most restrictive WCAG criteria;
- slideshows, interactive maps, calendars and dynamic components require periodic monitoring to ensure continued compatibility with assistive technologies and keyboard navigation;
- on pages that include contact forms, the reCAPTCHA anti-spam system may generate hidden technical fields detected by automated tools as form elements without labels; these fields are not intended for direct user input and are managed by a third-party service;
- future multimedia content may require subtitles, transcripts or equivalent alternatives;
- some PDF documents or downloadable materials published on the website or provided by third parties may not fully comply with document accessibility requirements;
- certain functions connected to online ticketing, ticket recovery or other external services are managed by third-party platforms and may not be entirely under the direct control of Etnaland S.r.l.
Third-party services and content
The website may integrate or link to services provided by third parties, including online ticketing platforms, privacy and cookie management systems, multimedia content, maps, social networks or other external tools.
Etnaland is committed, as far as possible, to choosing solutions compatible with accessibility requirements and to reporting any issues found to the relevant providers. However, some technical aspects of these services may not be under the direct control of Etnaland S.r.l.
