Etnaland’s rules.

By buying the ticket, you are accepting all conditions pertaining to the following Park regulations:

  • the ticket is non refundable at any time;
  • the temporary exit from the Park is possible with an electronic badge at the entrance from 11.00 am to 4:00 pm and from 7.00 pm to 10.30 pm (Themepark evening opening);
  • In case of severe weather conditions or prolonged electric black-out, the management has the right to evacuate the park without reimbursement of the ticket;
  • in order to guarantee safety to our guests, some of the rides are subject to restrictions. For your own safety follow the securities guidelines posted at each ride;
  • children under 1,00/ 1,20/1.40 can use slides and attractions allowed and under the surveillance of a parent or guardian;
  • the management declines all responsibility for incidents or damages caused by negligence or disrespect of the park regulations. In addition, the management declines all responsibility for personal belongings left in the lockers;
  • to get inside the Waterpark or the Themepark you must agree to the baggage check;
  • food is not allowed in the park. Otherwise please use the picnic site;
  • please refrain from using glass containers (cups, bottles, etc.);
  • the Park staff has the right to ask you to show the ticket. In case of lack of proof of purchase, you may be asked to leave the park;
  • deckchairs are available for a small fee;
  • by purchasing the ticket you take full responsibility that you could be photographed/recorded by Photoland’s staff and from our devices installed on the rides (the pictures are automatically removed in the following 48 hours);
  • the management reserves the right to remove from the Park guests whose behaviour does not conform to the safety standards and regulations of the Park;
  • check at the entrance of each attraction the safety standards to be respected and restrictions relating to age, height, handicap, convalescence and physical health conditions;
  • is mandatory that kids and teen-agers under full age must be attended by a parent or by an adult family trusted person that must take care on behavior, shouldering the total liability of eventual damage/ injury that the kids or teen agers could bring to them self, to other people and to the park's goods; thereon Etnaland declines any liability;

    According to the EU privacy policy, without photographed subjects consent, spreading their pictures on web, social media, chat is allowed only if they are not recognizable, either because far away pictured, or because their face has been digitally bleared by dedicated software.
Acquapark and Themepark Security Rules
  • our swimming pools, slides and rides have been designed according to the E.C. regulations and are conceived to guarantee maximum security to all users if used properly concurring to guidelines posted by the management;
  • the use of any attraction is forbidden for people under drugs or alcohol effect;
  • the rides with lap-bar, controlled by an electronic security system, are forbidden to passengers (adults and kids) whose size (height and/or waistline) do not permit its regular closure;
  • it is mandatory to use the ffp2 mask inside the 4d cinema, it is recommended indoor and in situations where gatherings can be created;
It is mandatory to
  • launch into the slides as indicated on the posted guidelines;
  • on the slides, do not use jewellery, glasses or watches;
  • on the rides use sturdy footwear, no heels or sandals;
  • leave the swimming pool immediately when a storm is approaching;
  • follow the instructions of the life guards and of the attendants to rides;
  • in case of an accident, please notify immediately the staff in the emergency room;
  • false statements will be legally punished;
It is forbidden
  • the usage of personal beach umbrella, barbecue grill, and glass containers;
  • to introduce pets;
  • to dive into the swimming pools;
  • to run around the edge of the pools or near the rides;
  • to push other people into the swimming pools;
  • to play dangerously in and out the swimming pools and near the rides;
  • to come down the slides head down or standing up or on your knees;
  • the usage of jewellery, glasses or watches on the slides;
  • to stop at the end of the slides or in the splash area in the pool;
  • to climb the rocks in the Blue Lagoon or in the wave pool;
  • the usage of the slides and of the rides for people with cardiac conditions, pregnant women, guests with surgical devices (prosthesis or plasters) and disabled;
  • to smoke, drink or eat close to the slide’s area or near the rides;

INFORMS YOU

about the setting of a video surveillance system inside of Etnaland park, to ensure the security needs of workers and customers.
The video surveillance activity is conducted in compliance with GDPR Regulation and L. n. 300/1970.

1. Data controller

Etnaland s.r.l., VAT 01544040841, established in Agnelleria street, 95032 Belpasso, Catania, is the data controller and it can be emailed at info@etnaland.it.
Data Protection Officer has not to be designated.

2. Nature of data and purposes of the processing.

The data controller processes only data obtained by the video surveillance system.
The processing of data is done for the security of workers and customers and the prevention of criminal offenses.

3. Lawfulness of data processing

Data Processing is lawful as it is:

  • based on the legitimate interest of the data controller.

Etnaland s.r.l. processes video surveillance data to prevent crimes, to collect proof, and to protect workers and customers from assaults, acts of vandalism, fires, in compliance with the Italian data protection authority act of 2018, February 22nd.

4. Data processing mode

The video surveillance system is a closed-loop and it is composed of 103 cameras that record on areas most impacted by damage and theft.
It works from 9 AM to 6 PM during springtime. In Summertime, the system works from 9 AM to 1 AM.
Videos and images are stored by Etnaland employees for 24 hours. During holidays, data may be stored for a long period.
The workers will be recorded incidentally and occasionally.
The data processing will be performed in compliance with human fundamental rights and with special reference to privacy, personal identity, and data protection.

5. Data communication

The processed data will not be communicated, sold or exchanged with third parties, with the exceptions of the security authorities.

6. Data subject rights

The data subjects rights, established by EU Regulation n. 679/2016, are:

  • The right to obtain from the controller, confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her are being processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data;
  • The right to obtain from the controller, without undue delay, the rectification of inaccurate personal data;
  • The right to obtain the erasure of personal data, where established by art. 17, par. 1 of EU Regulation n. 679/2016;
  • The right to obtain restriction of processing, was established by art. 18, paragraph 1 of EU Regulation n. 679/2016;
  • The right to receive the personal data provided to the controller, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and the right to transmit those data to another controller, without hindrance from the controller to which the personal data have been provided (right to data portability);
  • The right to object to the processing of personal data concerning him or her, where established by art. 21 of EU Regulation n. 679/2016;
  • The right to withdraw his or her consent at any time, when established by art. 7 of EU Regulation n. 679/2016;
  • The right to complain to the Italian supervisory authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
